Sissy From a Woman's View

I've always been a female oriented sissy. It never made sense to me that one could be a real sissy by using male oriented definitions of femininity, sissiness, submission, sensuality and sexuality. Mistress Lorelei tells it like it is from a female positive and slightly feminist point of view. The little things likes the curtsies and the panty education are a delight but, the comprehension that the Mistress is giving the sissy the opportunity and permission to be a better and happier person is priceless. It’s both fun and profound in its understanding of how Mistress and sissy can be mutually pleasing and beneficial to one another. I especially loved her explanation of female vs. male behaviors and attitudes as well as her grasp that the sissy must first change who she is on the outside before how she looks on the outside has any real value. This part particularly touched me because, as a born crossdresser and now, want-to-be sissy, I’ve always felt the call from within to express, and experience, myself outwardly en femme (but, I’ve never thought of it as denigrating or humiliating; rather as an elevation to a place that I was never given the permission to be). I LOVE the whole female perspective, definition and direction on what a sissy should be, internally and externally, and how she can behave and work best at being a gift, and delight, to her Mistress and potentially other women. I love the giving, the selflessness, the acceptance and embracing of one’s weaknesses, the true voluntary submission and most of all being the sissy that “she” wants, values and loves. I’ve read the book over and over and will continue to do so. What a gift, to finally be able to be a real sissy!

Good general introduction but disappointing otherwise

If you don't know what a sissy maid is, do a search on the web and you'll find hundreds if not thousands of pages. Most of these are porn but the quantity reflects a relatively common interest for some men (and some women too). This book attempts to create a sissy maid in 30 days and frankly this is the greatest disappointment of the book because I don't think it can succeed in such a task in such a short among of time -- it would be better to adapt the daily assignment into weekly ones, in my opinion, to get better and more positive results. Likewise it really needs references to stores and other printed materials that the common reader can access. But it is a good general introduction to the philosophy and feelings of many men and women who do sissy maid training and service. It helped me understand that a world a little better.
