Non-bro, non-woo-woo, and very comprehensive.

Most guys are really bad at sex. And unless you've been told over and over that you are amazing (or... didn't have to be told), you probably do too.

That's not your fault, though, as the resources for this are really bad. And before this book, one of the best resources were Nat's two articles on his wildly popular blog - which, you'll find out in the book, is why this book exists.

Most of the information on sex for guys is either wrong, written from a bro-style (e.g. The Sex God Method, which actually has some great content in between it's chest-pounding bro stories) or woo-woo (no, I don't want to connect with my Penis-chakra).

Nat's book is the middle ground. It's written by a self-dev blogger who cut his chops with how-to content, which is very apparent here. This book includes almost everything (I say almost because there is some stuff missing, which I'll touch on in a second) a guy could want to know, written in a factual but not dry manner. If you want to experience his writing style on this subject, look at his posts on multiple orgasms for men or how to last longer.

Pros:
- Very well written and easy to read
- Doesn't focus on only how to be better in bed, but also how to make the sex better for you, the guy
- Everything he talks about is very accurate and well researched
- If you follow the advice and work on it, your sex will get a LOT better, you'll be able to last longer, have multiple orgasms, give her multiple orgasms (which is very achievable)
- Nat's treatment of "taboo" topics like anal BDSM is unrivaled. He's very good at making you feel comfortable and understand what's behind everything
- Progression of ideas and chapters is very well organized
- Has almost everything covered
- The final resources section at the back of the book makes implementing some of the kinkier stuff that needs gear easier

Cons
- Nat's ability to write sex scenes to illustrate "flows" are lackluster. He's a how-to guy, not an erotica author, which means these occasionally feel awkward to read or aren't as clear as they could be
- I'm not personally a fan of said "flows", but I can see how they could be useful for a guy who doesn't know what he's doing
- Missing any mention of the deep spot, which is all the way in the back around the "nose" of the cervix, which can be the most powerful orgasm for some women, and is something nobody talks about
- His effort to not be bro-y means some parts end up feeling a bit clinical. It is sex we're talking about, here.

The bottom line: if you want to be the "best she's ever had", while also making things way better for yourself, this is your manual. It will get you most of the way there, and it's imperfections pale in comparison to the crap that is everything else on this subject.

sound advice

As a happily married woman nearing retirement age I am clearly not the target audience for this book. As a family physician with over 30 years of advising people about their health concerns I applaud a book clearly written about questions regarding the nuts and bolts of sexual interaction. Although popular sites and magazines offer much advice about sexuality I have not seen much from this straight forward point of view that also integrates the importance of clear communication in building a healthy and satisfying sex life for both parties in the relationship. There are links to many resources that I have not yet explored, but look useful. I will keep a copy of this book available to help some of my patients struggling with some of these questions. I might have been a bit less casual about some of the potential health consequences of sex such as disease or bruising when exploring BSDM activity(these questions have come up in my practice), but the facts and explanations are scientifically accurate and we all might be better off if people were more at ease seeking good advice on these topics.

Less "Woo" and more "Whoa"

Come Again is helpful and worthwhile for many reasons, but one stands out in particular. Few books can meet the standard of both 1) interesting / enjoyable narrative and 2) easy-to-access index. Usually, one must either read through an entire book cover to cover or simply navigate to pages / sections of interest.

Not so with Nat Eliason's book. While I read and enjoyed a full read-through, I've also gone back routinely to look at specific sections as they are so detailed and practical. It's like the perfect wedding of narrative and practical manual. I (and my girlfriend) love it.

While this is the most unique aspect, I'd be remiss without mentioning that I've read many books on the topic and have found nothing as comprehensive as this. Even "gold standard" books I've recommended in the past (Mantak Chia, I'm looking at you) have been replaced with less "woo" and more "whoa". Five stars for Eliason
