An invaluable guide on how to generate passive income

I knew nothing about selling on Amazon before reading this book, literally nothing. I had no idea that I could become a third part retailer and benefit from Amazon’s structure and business expertise to sell products. Now I can honestly say that I feel ready to kickstart my own business.
Why do I think this book is invaluable? First of all, Michael Marani doesn’t hold anything back from the reader: he clearly wants you to be as successful as him. It starts with the proper mindset, and an essential part of that is acknowledging that it’ll take a lot of hard work, late nights, negotiation, table building, but in the end, you’ll have a business that’ll basically “run itself” and provide a consistent stream of passive income. In order to achieve that you need to find the right tools to help you maximize profit, and that means making the most of your time (time is money after all).
Marani created The textbook for selling on Amazon. It’s so comprehensive that it evens teaches you how to use hmtl codes according to Amazon’s rules, how to find the best sources, and how to purchase a clean-looking logo for your brand. The product selection section is essential to anyone interested on start selling on Amazon.
The amount of invaluable information available on this step-by-step is sure to keep you getting back to it from time to time. This isn’t the kind of book that you’ll read once and understand it all, because it describes an intricate process. Like I said before, selling on Amazon is hard work, and without the proper tools, you might waste your time by trial and error. But it’s much easier to simply follow Marani’s tips and use the right merchant tools (there a lot of sites that’ll make your life easier).
To sum up, there’s no other guide as complete and accurate as this one. 5 stars!

This is a great road map to new possibilities!

What a great resource! When someone tells you that their book is a "step by step" guide this author wasn't kidding. The instruction is easy to follow and comprehend. What I found is the book doesn't focus on only what to do, but what not to do! You feel like you are sitting down with a trusted friend who is willing to show you the way.
I was initially skeptical about this option as a second career, mostly because of not really understanding where to go or how to get started. That is no longer the case. This is a great road map to new possibilities!

His product selection method is pretty difficult to follow as it was explained, I got the feeling this ebook was just a primer for his real motive to drive traffic to his instruction course being developed? I'm signed up for the online course so we'll see how that goes but as is this book doesn't do a very good job of teaching (me) how to evaluate products for sourcing, private branding and FBA...Sorry Michael ;(

About the Author
Edward Stewart (1938�–1996) grew up in New York City and Cuba. He was educated at Phillips Exeter Academy and at Harvard, where he edited the famed Lampoon humor magazine. He studied music in Paris with Nadia Boulanger, and worked as a composer and arranger before launching his career as a writer. His first novel, Orpheus on Top, was published in 1966. Absolutely wonderful

I discovered this book over twenty years ago in the public library. I was in 7th or 8th grade and I had a voracious appetite for reading and had already read through several Stephen Kings, all of the available Christopher Pikes, most of the R.L. Stines... well, you can see the type of book I was reading back then. But I was looking for something different.. something I could really get lost in. I found this hard-cover, largely nondescript book somewhere on one of the back walls. I was with my best friend who was newly obsessed with the Clan of the Cave Bear series, which I couldn't get into. I started reading this and never looked back. I often think of it as the first non-horror book I really enjoyed.

Fast forward about 18 years and I'm feeling particularly nostalgic. I am certain that somewhere in the back of my head the title of "that one book that was SO good" was Ballerina. I start in on Google, amazon, goodreads, biblio, etc. I really searched. I could not find it. Until I thought... you know, maybe it IS that out-of-print one by Edward Stewart. I ordered two copies - just in case.

How pleased I was when it not only WAS that book, but that upon reading it again as a lawyer in her early thirties, I discovered that it was JUST AS GOOD. Such a well done novel that simultaneously makes the ballerina world look enrapturing, exciting, and devastating. It delves into the pain, the politics, the pressure. And it also brings the reader with it into the highs, the accomplishments, the glory.

I am so happy that others agree. I highly recommend this book.

Superb

This book painted the difficult life of a dancer with exquisite style and harsh realism. Edward Stewart has created a wonderful read in this book. It's impossible to put it down! For anyone involved firsthand in the ballet world, it's a must-read; for all the ballet illiterate--by the time you finish, you will be able to speak with authority and confidence on the subject. Very, very good book, and I'm saddened to see it's gone out of print.

Fabulous book!

I picked this book up at second book sale - lucky me! I didn't know much about the world of ballet when I started but certainly knew more by the time I had finished. Well written, I could easily get involved with the characters' emotions. I ended up feeling sorry yet joyful for all the main characters at the conclusion, especially Stephanie and Christine. It is well worth reading if you can get hold of a copy. I think it is a shame it has gone out of print.

Fundamentals of the study of robotic manipulation

This is a beautiful introduction to the field of robotic manipulation, and should be required reading for all graduate students in robotics. Each topic is treated carefully and rigorously. It is only fair to admit that the author was my Ph.D. advisor.

There is a strong emphasis on providing a mental toolkit for reasoning about physical systems. A particular highlight is the selection of graphical methods for thinking about rigid body systems with friction and contact. The careful reader, after working through this book, will be able to reason about mechanical systems with pencil and paper, rather than blind implementations of computer simulations.

The book is dense and requires significant work from the reader. Though there are no prerequisites for the book other than basic calculus, many of the proofs and techniques require some mathematical sophistication and a strong attention to detail to follow.

The book is also specialized, and does not attempt to cover all the details of manipulator design, modeling, or control -- instead, the focus is on the motion of the system being manipulated, which might be much more interesting than the manipulator itself.

For the above reasons, this book is not for everyone, but as a robotics researcher, I have come back to this book over and over again while reviewing papers or thinking about how to quickly model and understand a new system.

Nice for overview, bad for understanding

Mason covers quite a collection of techniques in his book; so as an partial overview of work done on techniques addressing problems of mechanical nature in robotics, this book is reasonable. One can use it as a starting point to find more information on these topics.
However, in my opinion the book is not suitable to gain an understanding of the subject. Mason tries to cover many methods but often fails to clearly describe the essence of techniques. I often find myself reading the same section a number of times to piece together the essence of how a technique works.

Superb writing, accessible and insightful

This is unquestionably the best quality book in a field crowded with poseurs and worse. See particularly the essays by Wilhelm & Kapell, John Shelton Lawrence, Flannery-Dailey & Wagner, and Mizelle & Baker. Accessibly written, enlightening, intellectually stimulating, with touches of humor that delight and intrigue, this book is worth every penny. The primary editor, Kapell, along with the highly competent Dr. Doty, have selected papers which are reflexive, more than capably developed, and multi-faceted in their approaches to the Matrix franchise. Enjoy this literate and worthy book!

Jacking In to the Matrix Franchise is the red pill that makes us understand the world of the Matrix in ways we could not while we were immersed in it, since the volume's essays serve as a comprehensive look into the Matrix franchise, not just the film trilogy composed by The Matrix, The Matrix: Reloaded, and The Matrix: Revolutions. For the Matrix directors, Andy and Larry Wachowski, orchestrated an array of artistic endeavors, including a collection of short anime stories entitled The Animatrix, the video game Enter The Matrix and the The Matrix comics as alternative texts that provide background or side narratives to Reloaded and Revolutions. In the Fall of 2004, the Matrix saga will continue in the form of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, The Matrix Online.
As co-editor William G. Doty claims in the introduction, Jacking In situates the franchise in the context of "the history of thought"-from Romanticism to Postmodernism and the posthuman-and in the context of cinema. Accordingly, the volume is multidisciplinary in scope, though it remains firmly set in the humanities and social sciences, as shown by the authors' credentials: Religion and Culture, Comparative Ethnic Studies, English, Philosophy, History, Anthropology...
Besides Doty's introduction, other highlights of Jacking In include John Shelton Lawrence's reading of the film trilogy as a fascist narrative, and Frances Flannery-Dailey and Rachel L. Wagner's analysis of the franchise's problematic connection of violence and religious themes.
Jacking In also includes a useful appendix with a glossary of names and terms used in the franchise, plus a collection of internet sites by theme and a short bibliography of recommended readings.

The ONLY book on the Matrix you need

This is far and away the best work on the Matrix films. It is the only one that covers the entire franchise; the films, the games, the pop culture aspects. Doty's introduction is amazing, while the other chapters manage to cover just about every aspect of the series you can imagine.

Highly useful for anyone interested in figuring out which colored pill to take.

Excellent training handbook for Space Shuttle Astronauts on learning how to escape from the space shuttle incase of an emergency that God handbooks like this is so useful for training astronauts it should be a very interesting read for me especially since I am fascinated by Space Travel
